December 3rd:   GaSCar’s Annual Christmas Party at Augusta First Baptist Church Plan on arriving on the evening of the party around 5:30-6:00 PM so you can get your picture taken and pick your table.  We’ll plan on eating at 6:30.  


December 7th:  Grovetown Christmas Parade, 10-Noon: The City of Grovetown's annual Christmas parade will proceed as planned. Since last year’s parade was cancelled, they will repeat the theme for this year. Please join us for the 49th Annual Christmas Rock N' Roll Re-do Parade! There will be a contest for the most creative Rock N' Roll theme, going all the way back to even Elvis's day!  Line up time from 7:30 to 9:15 at the Grovetown campus of Augusta Technical College. Candy is welcome.


Dec 8th: Jackson, SC Christmas Parade.  Parade starts at 2 PM, Line up around 1 PM at Jackson Middle School, 8217 Atomic Road, Jackson, SC 29831.  Candy is welcome. ***All entries must be decorated*** Meet at Kay McIver’s (192 McElmurray Farm Road) for delicious snacks after the parade provided by Kay with lots of help from Pat and Susie Glazener.

December 14th : The Harlem Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 14th.  This is a twilight/night time parade. The best way to Harlem on Saturday December 14, 2024 is head straight down Gordon Highway.

For GaSCar participants, please  meet at 5:00 PM at DG Market 180 E. Milledgeville Road, Harlem, GA 30814. From there, we will convoy as a group to Harlem City Park. James Thomas  will have our passes for the Parade. The PARADE WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 6: PM.
Parade participants are allowed to Hand candy to the Parade onlookers.  Throwing candy directly at the crowd of onlookers is no longer permitted. This is a SAFETY REQUIREMENT as they do not want children running directly into to the street. It is recommended to have someone in your group to hold a bucket and HAND candy to the onlookers. There are many children in the crowd of onlookers. For their safety and yours, please be sure to be aware of your surroundings throughout the parade. This parade is being held at night and it will be dark outside.

January 21st: Monthly meeting at Fox Appliance.  7 PM


​January 26th:  6:30 PM  "GaSCar Night at the Movies"  Fox Appliance. .  A good time will be enjoyed by all.  Mark Petry will again pick a classic from the 50's for us to see.  If you haven't been to one of these events, don't miss your opportunity to join your GaSCar friends, enjoy hotdogs and other culinary delights and see a world class (?) movie. Loud vocal comments are allowed during the viewing of the movie.
